The PVDF coating thickness could be measured by an enlarged cross-section diagram, as shown by the photograph magnified 4000 times at right side. The coating thickness can be calculated from the measuring tape: PVDF primer painting 5-7 microns, and PVDF varnish painting 20-23 microns. Although such PVDF coating arrangement is rather reasonable, nevertheless, for the purpose of cost-saving, in some of ALUTILE interior-wall panels, the thickness of PVDF primer painting is deliberately increased and that of PVDF vanish painting is decreased accordingly. |

| By sticking a layer of decorative film made from PVC or PET to the surface of base material, many kinds of patterns could be realized. However, some kinds of films have been abandoned because of their poor ability of weathering-resistance. For example, when PET film, a kind of high-performance polyester film, is put on the thin polyester coating layer on the surface of base material, it will stick to the polyester coating layer firmly through continuous thermal-rolling method. Furthermore, there are many kinds of pattern styles available to choose for this film, consequently it can imitate most of other materials, such as marble and nature lumber etc. Now, PET film becomes more and more popular because of its excellent weathering-resistance, compared with the normal organic coating film. |

3) Transform Coating
A kind of anti-corrosion transformation coating will be created on the aluminum surface by a chemical method, and its performance will be more and more excellent along with technology improvement. Especially for a kind of porcelain oxidation, there is a compact oxidation layer A1203 on the surface of aluminum.
